Abdullah is an Assistant Professor and the chair of Management Information Systems (MIS) Department at the IAU University - Saudi Arabia. His research interests center around empirical software engineering with a focus on agile software development, technical debt management, and software startups. He also teaches courses such as IT project management, Digital business, and Business analytics with the MIS department at the IAU university.
