Shaz works as a consultant on AI governance, focusing on cities and the public sector worldwide. She is also a PhD candidate analysing tech policy in Singapore, as part of the Global Data Justice project, at the Tilburg Institute of Law and Technology.
Most recently, she was a Principal Investigator for the MILA - Quebec AI Institute and UN-Habitat collaboration, as well as with the Global Observatory on Urban AI. During her PhD, she discovered agile and has since become a passionate advocate, always trying to find a way to introduce agile approaches as a way to enable effective communication.
