In this session, Dr. Ki Magee, Enterprise Agile Coach shares her wins and learns from a 4-year engagement where she implemented and conducted Organization-level retrospectives with a Technology Team at U.S. Department of State. Using Annual Office-level retrospective surveys helped team members feel more engaged, empowered, and valued. Starting with 1 Division of 155 team members and growing to 330+ members is an inspired and transformational journey. Dr Ki will share year over year trends from feedback and how leadership, management, and the coaches responded. The retrospective surveys provided a clear indication of what was most important to team members, what team members we’re learning, what leaders should stop, start, and continue doing going into the next year. This is a story many will be able to relate to and will definitely decrease the learning curve of leaders and senior staff going into their next agile engagement. It’s a great reflection of the growth, learning and transformation occurring throughout the entire organization spurred by taking what is fundamentally understood as a team level activity and scaling it beyond development to the entire enterprise.
