In my first week at an international fintech company, I was struck by a hybrid demo event where a developer presented their work to internal guests, but there was no interaction or feedback. Upon further investigation, I found that this reporting style was standard practice for reviewing sprint results, with complex reasons supporting it. Fast forward 18 months, and one of my teams celebrated a successful sprint review involving users, sparking lively discussions and high satisfaction levels from users, managers, and team members. Reflecting on our journey, we not only recognized the progress we had made but also identified ongoing challenges and areas for improvement. In this presentation, I will share our change management journey, detailing the obstacles we overcame and the successes we achieved in transforming our product development process.
