Ken is a software engineering professional with more than 20 years’ experience implementing software systems and building agile teams and organizations. He has held leadership positions in companies from startup to Fortune 50 in multiple industry segments, including networking & communications, finance, automotive, and travel distribution systems. He is currently developing AI-enabled systems for self-driving cars and intelligent autonomous systems.

His core areas of expertise include software architecture, artificial intelligence, deep learning, complex adaptive systems, sensemaking, strategy, agile development, and large-scale transformation. He is a regular speaker on these topics at leading international conferences. Ken holds a B.Eng. in Software Engineering, M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence, and a Ph.D. in Complex Adaptive Systems. He has published more than 35 peer-reviewed papers and has been awarded patents in virtualization and network management technology. He has been working with agile and lean approaches to product development since 1999.
