DARJA SMITE is a full professor of software engineering at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, where she leads research efforts on global software development, remote work and large-scale agile. As a researcher she has dedicatedly focused on understanding the impact of distribution, globalization and offshoring in software companies. She has conducted research with and for Ericsson, ABB, Spotify, Telenor, SONY, Emerson Process Management, Boss Media, CALVI, DXC, and Storebrand.
