API TEST - (Design) Thinking Out of the Box
Description
Let's say you came up with a great idea for a new product or service. Your engineering team says it's feasible, and your CFO thinks it's viable. Should you go for it? Viable and feasible, isn't that enough? However, there's a discipline claiming that there's a better approach for innovation. Design Thinking is a people-centered approach to finding solutions to complex problems. What does that mean? Instead of focusing on whether or not an idea is technically possible or if it is economically viable, Design Thinking starts by finding out what users really want, and what they really need. This workshop will cover a whole Design Thinking process end to end, starting from a general problem to solve, and ending with potential solutions to try. Participants will experience many practices to get understanding of our customer's needs, define a specific problem, develop solutions, and design a prototype. The different techniques used will help to understand the nature of Design Thinking, its main characteristics, and when is it appropriate to apply.
